Custom media wall in The Hague, installed in one day
A media wall is where the TV, the fireplace and the storage become one: no cables, no loose furniture, just a clean wall with light and warmth. We install it in one day. Everything arrives milled to size from the factory, including the base cabinets; we assemble it, anchor it and fit it seamlessly to your wall. That is why it does not take weeks and does fit.
- Three packages from 5,450 euros, including installation and VAT
- Installed in one day, no plastering, no drying time
- Filler strips cut to size on site, so it fits a crooked wall too
Why no plastering
Most media walls are built with blocks or plaster: a week of building, a week of drying, only then painting, and dust in the house all that time. We work with a prefabricated package of MDF panels and base cabinets milled to size in the factory. On installation day we arrive with that package, fit the wall, hang the TV and plug in the fireplace, and leave with a broom. You watch TV the same evening.
Why a cabinet fitter
A media wall is not plastering work but cabinet work: base cabinets that stand level, drawers that close softly, a TV niche that fits exactly and filler strips that make the wall meet a crooked wall seamlessly. In The Hague that last one is the rule, not the exception. Our crew installs cabinets every week and knows where it goes wrong before it does.
The fireplace
Electric, plug-in, with heating up to 2,000 watts and a flame effect you can switch on separately. No flue, no gas, no permit. The Signature package includes a wide fireplace with a three-dimensional flame effect. A built-in fireplace on its own circuit is possible too; then we schedule an electrician and you hear the cost in advance.
Light and acoustics
Dimmable LED lighting above and below the wall, so the TV is not the only light in the evening. Acoustic slat panels as an accent or over the full height: they dampen the echo a large TV and a hard floor create together, and they give the wall depth.
For meeting rooms too
The same construction works in an office: a niche sized for the screen, cables hidden in a closed base cabinet, acoustic slats against the echo and lighting that does not glare on camera. For businesses we build it without a fireplace and with more storage, and there your AV partner fits the screen onto our reinforced mounting board. See our business page for prices.
How it works
Send a photo of the wall and the size via WhatsApp. You hear the same day which package fits and what it costs. We come to measure, with samples. Within three weeks the wall is in, installed in one day. The price in the quote is the price on the invoice.
Configure your media wall
Give us a call. Within five minutes you know what your cabinet costs.
The estimate above is a range, because we have not seen your wall yet. On the phone we ask three questions and then you get a price you can count on. No sales talk, no emails back and forth.
- A price within five minutes instead of a range
- Planning benefit of up to 250 euros if you are flexible on the installation day
- A measuring appointment straight away, usually within three working days
Available on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays until 17:00.
That planning benefit is not a sales trick. If we are already working in your neighbourhood that week, it saves us travel time and half a day of setting up. We pass that saving on, up to 250 euros. Tell us on the phone that you are flexible with the date and we will see what fits the schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Which TV size fits?
Up to 65 inch in Basic, up to 75 in Complete and up to 85 in Signature. We make the niche to the size of your TV, with room for a bracket and air circulation.
Can the fireplace heat as well?
Yes, up to 2,000 watts, and the flame effect also works without heating. The fireplace needs an ordinary socket. If one is there, we plug it in. If a socket has to be added, our electrician does that and you hear the cost in advance.
Does the TV not get too hot above the fireplace?
No. The heat goes forward, not up, and there is an insulated divider with ventilation between fireplace and TV. That is exactly why you do not build a media wall yourself.
Can the media wall go in a rented home or apartment?
Yes. It is anchored to the wall with a limited number of plugs and can be dismantled when you move. On plasterboard walls we use special plugs; we see that when measuring.
What about the cables?
All cables run through a duct behind the wall to the base cabinet where the equipment sits. You see nothing, not even from the side.
Can I have the wall first and the fireplace later?
Yes. We make the niche to size now and fit a temporary panel. The fireplace goes in later in an hour.
