Why not a new kitchen
A new kitchen costs 5,000 to 30,000 euros and two weeks of building dust, and usually there is nothing wrong with the cabinets. The carcasses of a fifteen-year-old kitchen are still perfectly straight; it is the fronts, the hinges and the worktop that are worn. Those we replace, and the rest stays. That is up to eighty percent cheaper and it saves you a kitchen without running water.
What we do on installation day
We arrive with every front milled to size, the hinges pre-drilled and the worktop cut to measure. Old fronts off, new hinges in, fronts on, doors adjusted until every gap is even. With an overlay worktop we lay the top over the existing one and finish it around the sink and the hob, which stay in place. Packaging goes with us, the kitchen is swept clean, and you cook the same evening.
The worktop: an overlay
We work with an overlay worktop that goes over your existing top, a few millimetres thick, neatly finished around the existing sink and hob. No demolition, no new cut-out, and your sink and tap stay untouched. The condition is that your current top is flat and intact; if it has sagged or cracked, an overlay is not the answer and we will say so.
What we do not do
We do not touch water, gas or appliances. No disconnecting the sink, no replacing the tap, no removing the hob or oven. That is deliberate: it is exactly the work where things go wrong and where you should have a plumber. If you want a completely new stone top with a new sink, that needs a kitchen fitter or plumber. We then do the front work and the finishing around it, and you arrange the installer yourself or through our network.
What to send in advance
A photo of the kitchen and the number of doors and drawers. You hear the same day which package fits and what it costs. Then we come to measure with samples, because a colour on a screen is not a colour in your kitchen light.

Frequently asked questions
Will new fronts fit my old cabinets?
With almost every kitchen built after 2000, yes, because those use the standard 32 millimetre drilling pattern. We measure every front separately and pre-drill the hinge holes. If it does not fit, we say so before the quote.
How many doors does an average kitchen have?
Between ten and fifteen, often more in a large kitchen. Up to fifteen is included; above that we charge 95 euros per front.
Can the worktop go over the old one?
Yes, that is exactly what we do. An overlay a few millimetres thick over your existing top, finished around the sink and the hob. If your current top is not flat or is cracked, that does not work and we will say so before the quote.
Will my kitchen be unusable for a day?
Half a day. With fronts only you can cook again in the afternoon, with an overlay worktop the same evening. Water and gas stay on, because we do not touch them.
What is the lead time?
Three weeks from approval to installed, as with all our work. Fronts in special lacquer colours can take longer; you hear that in advance with a date.
Can you convert just one cabinet into drawers?
Yes, 345 euros per cabinet, including Blum runners and the front work. Usually the best 345 euros in the whole kitchen.
