Terms, conditions and guarantees
These are the agreements that come with every quote. We have kept them as short and readable as possible. Where the law gives a consumer more protection than stated here, the law applies.
1. Quote and order
The quote is valid for fourteen days and contains a fixed price and a fixed installation day. The order is concluded when you confirm the quote in writing or by email. The price in the quote is the price on the invoice; extra work is only done after your written approval in advance.
2. Made to measure and withdrawal
A made-to-measure cabinet is produced to your sizes and choices. Therefore the statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases does not apply to the cabinet itself (Article 6:230p Dutch Civil Code). Until the day production starts you can cancel the order free of charge; after that we charge the costs incurred.
3. Payment
On order you pay [percentage] percent as a deposit, the rest within [number] days after installation. We start production on receipt of the deposit; the installation day is fixed once the deposit is in.
4. Measuring and drawing
We measure and make the drawing. You approve that drawing before production starts. Sizes you supply yourself are at your own risk, unless we have re-measured them.
5. Lead time and date guarantee
We install within 21 days after your approval of the quote and drawing, in the standard finishes. For every working day we install later than the agreed installation day, you receive 100 euros off the invoice, up to a maximum of 1,000 euros. This does not apply if the delay is caused by you (for example moving the date or a space that is not ready) or by force majeure. For the second line (spraying, veneer) the lead time in the quote applies.
6. Fit guarantee
If the cabinet does not fit as on the approved drawing, we adjust it or make it again free of charge. Changes in the space that occurred after measuring (for example a new floor or plastering) are excluded.
7. Installation and scope
Installation is done by two fitters. The space is empty and accessible on installation day. We take packaging with us and leave the space clean. We do not move sockets, pipes or radiators, do not connect water, gas or appliances, and do not fit televisions, screens or brackets. We do supply a reinforced mounting board at the height you specify. What is and is not included is stated per job in the quote.
8. Warranty
On construction and hardware we give a ten-year warranty from the installation date, on presentation of the invoice. The warranty does not cover damage from improper use, moisture or modifications by third parties. Wear of moving parts falls under the hardware manufacturer's warranty.
9. Liability
We are insured for business liability. Our liability is limited to the amount our insurer pays out in the case concerned, except in the case of intent or wilful recklessness. We are not liable for damage caused by items supplied or fitted by you or by third parties, including screens, brackets, equipment and connections not installed by us. Liability for consequential loss, such as lost revenue or downtime, is excluded.
10. Business clients
These terms apply to orders from businesses. We expressly reject the purchasing conditions of the client, unless agreed otherwise in writing. These terms are attached to every quote.
11. Complaints and disputes
Report complaints within fourteen days of discovery. We will come and look and resolve it. Dutch law applies to these terms. These terms were last updated on [date].
