Walk-in closets, open systems without doors
A walk-in closet needs no doors, so you get more metres for the same money. It is a room made entirely of storage: hanging sections, shelves, drawers, a mirror and lighting exactly where your clothes hang.

We measure the whole room and draw the layout along every wall, solving the corners without dead space. In an attic we carry the roof slope into the side panels. LED lighting along the top edge is almost standard here, because a walk-in rarely has a window.
With no doors, the closet is open from top to bottom. That calls for clean edges and neatly finished shelf drilling. We use 18 mm board with 2 mm ABS edging, including the back of the side panels.

Frequently asked questions
How much space do I need?
A room of 1.80 by 2.50 metres is enough for storage along two walls with an 80 centimetre walkway. Smaller works too, then along one wall.
Can I add doors later?
Yes, if we know in advance. Then we keep the depth and hinge positions ready for it.
How long does installation take?
One day with two fitters for a walk-in up to six metres. You can use it the same evening.
