A wall unit defines the room. Closed cabinets below for what can be hidden, open shelves above for what may be seen, a place for the television and room to hide the cables. And from floor to ceiling, because a unit that stops thirty centimetres short of the ceiling only collects dust.

We design the unit around what goes in it: the size of the TV, the number of books, where the sockets are. LED lighting in the open shelves and a cable cut-out are part of the design. Drawers in the lower section run on Blum runners.
In Hague houses with a chimney breast we build the unit around it, with the alcoves on either side as part of the piece. That is the cabinet we get the most questions about, and the one we have made most often.

Frequently asked questions
Can the television go into the unit?
Yes. We make a bay to the size of the TV with a cable pass-through to a closed cabinet below, so the equipment is out of sight.
What about a radiator or sockets in the wall?
We leave radiators and sockets free and build around them. If they really have to move, an installer does that and not us; we name that in advance with a price.
How much weight can the open shelves take?
18 mm shelves at 80 centimetres wide easily carry a row of books. For wider bays we add a support or a thicker shelf.
