With children the living room becomes a playroom. That is fine, as long as it can be a living room again at seven o'clock. A wall unit with deep drawers and closed cabinets below, exactly at a child's height, makes tidying something the children do themselves. Above sit the open shelves, the sound and the TV, out of reach.

Frequently asked questions
How much weight can the drawers take?
Blum runners carry 40 kilos per drawer. A drawer full of wooden blocks is no problem.
Can the drawers become doors later?
Yes. The lower part is built from modules; swapping a drawer block for a door cabinet takes half a day.
What about the radiator under the window?
We leave it free or build an open bay around it. A low cabinet under the window can have a grille in the top.
