Upgrading an older commercial building: the joinery

A building that is not upgraded slowly becomes unlettable. The province estimates the restructuring task in South Holland at 140 hectares, while sites with high economic potential hold about 225 hectares of dated property. Almost every upgrade involves joinery: a pantry from 1998, a desk that no longer matches the identity, and storage walls that hang crooked. That part is ours.

  • Joinery for a quality upgrade: pantry, desk, storage walls and partition walls
  • Priced per metre, so you can budget per floor or per building
  • Outside office hours and in phases, so sitting tenants keep working

What we do in a quality upgrade

We replace pantries and coffee points, the reception desk, storage walls for archives and supplies, cloakrooms and lockers, and the partition walls with storage that turn an open floor into workable rooms. All made to measure for the building, in melamine or a finish that fits the interior concept.

Why us and not a project fit-out firm

Project fit-out firms want a floor of a thousand metres or more. Handymen do not dare measure a pantry. We sit in between: jobs of 5,000 to 40,000 euros, with a fixed price per metre, so you can budget per floor before you request the investment.

Working in a building with sitting tenants

That is the rule, not the exception. We work evenings, weekends or during a holiday closure, at no surcharge when planned in advance. Every working day we leave the space swept clean, and packaging goes with us straight away.

In phases, floor by floor

In a four-storey building we do not do everything at once. We measure it all in one round, make one drawing and one quote, and install floor by floor on the dates you specify. That saves disruption and saves us transport, and we pass that on.

What we do not do

Water, gas and electrics, and no structural work, ceilings, floors or building services. We make the joinery in wood and board. For the rest you work with your own contractor or installer; we align our schedule with theirs.

Give us a call. Within five minutes you know what your cabinet costs.

The estimate above is a range, because we have not seen your wall yet. On the phone we ask three questions and then you get a price you can count on. No sales talk, no emails back and forth.

  • A price within five minutes instead of a range
  • Planning benefit of up to 250 euros if you are flexible on the installation day
  • A measuring appointment straight away, usually within three working days

Available on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays until 17:00.

That planning benefit is not a sales trick. If we are already working in your neighbourhood that week, it saves us travel time and half a day of setting up. We pass that saving on, up to 250 euros. Tell us on the phone that you are flexible with the date and we will see what fits the schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Can you give a price per metre for a whole building?

Yes. For repeat work we fix prices per metre for storage walls, pantries and desks, so you can budget per floor without requesting a quote each time.

Can you work in phases over several months?

Yes. We fix the dates in advance and keep to them; for every working day we are later than the agreed installation day our date guarantee applies.

Do you work alongside the building's contractor?

Yes. We take the joinery and align our schedule with the main contractor. One contact person on our side.

Do you supply sustainable or circular materials?

We work as standard with board material available FSC-certified. Reusing existing cabinets is sometimes possible too: replacing fronts on existing carcasses is considerably cheaper and saves waste.

How quickly can you start?

Quote within two working days of receiving the floor plan, measuring within a week, and three to four weeks to installation.
